Rude and *********** Gov staff

I'm really saddened by the rude treatment I've been getting at the Dept of Labour as a whole especially the Beaufort West office. I have been struggling with my maternity benefit since Jan 2020. The past two weeks has been the worst. The two employees I dealt with were rude to say the least. One of them putted the phone down on my ear while talking. They never respond to emails. When I called the one employee who knows my number, he would reject the call. Besides being rude, they just ***********. They paid the money for my maternity claim which ended in May into an incorrect account. But they asked me to get a UI2.8 completed by the bank and myself for new bank details. Which I did and sent it with another doc they asked for. When inquired about the incorrect payment, they guy said nothing will be done because the money has been paid and they not making a 2nd payment to me and he putted down the phone. I sent emails inquiring about this and they still have not responded. I have sent complaints to managers, inspectors and still no response. Why do Gov employees treat us as if they doing us a favor by assisting? Are they not getting paid to service us? I really don't get why we have to put up with such treatment.
