Request for a Statement of Account: Compensation Commissioner

<p>Rose Tshabalala has no customer service s****s. I was screamed at by her in her office after I complained about people who gave me the wrong information at the Witbank during 2010, the struggle I have had to get anybody in several branches of the Compensation Commissioner's office to help me regarding the origin of an outstanding balance on a client's account. She accused me of insulting those people and stated that the accounts/assessment/ect of the Compensation Commissioner is not her work, she is volunteering to do it out her own free will. I left there with nothing more than a request for a letter of good standing being denied which the reflected only the amount, but with no date on, insulted and verbally abused. After I informed the client that it is better to pay the outstanding amount, he requested correspondation with a date reflecting on it as the result of one's request for a letter of good standing does not reflect a date, only that the letter of good standing couldn't be generated due to an outstanding amount which is stated on it. The reason for his request is that he wants proof that on the date of this correspondence the amount reflected will be the final settlement amount and no additional amounts in terms of penalties or interest will be added after payment has been made. I tried the call centre ***number at the top of the letter of goodstanding, it was 'congested', I tried the head office number, it only rang, I tried the Witbank office, it only rang, I tried the Ermelo office and was referred to the call centre number, I contacted a client of mine, he gave me an Isak's number, who gave the phone to Rose, who again yelled at me, again accusing me of going around insulting people, after I only asked for correspondence with today's date on. She yelled at me to tell the client to go to the Pretoria office in person and get what he is requesting there, as she apparently explained to me the day in her office only head office is able to provide. Her words that particular day was that the system she uses does not allow her access to a statement of account, although she was able to show me detail of how the amount was made up on the screen, but for the reason that all printers was already switched off, as everybody was leaving the office at 10:00 that morning, she wasn't able to give me a print-out of the detail on the screen. I never ever want to deal with Rose Tshabalala again. I will rather go to Pretoria, 200km from Standerton, before I ever set foot in the Department of Labour's offices in Standerton again.</p>
