My name is M K Naidoo id no.***,I did an online application for UIF benefits on the 29th of September 2020 after I was retrenched, to date I have not received 1 cent but more problems, after reporting my query to various departments within the Department of Labour I got an email from Mr Daniel Tshabalala informing me that my ID Number was used to submit a death claim in September 2005 ,according to the Department of Labour i died in 2005, I informed him that my wife passed away in August 2005 and I made a death benefit claim using her ID Number and the Department of Labour made an error, he tells me to go to Department of Labour in Germiston and correct the mistake they made in 2005, SERIOUSLY????, I told him I cannot correct their mistakes, he then tells me to go to the Department of Home Affairs, I told him that I app**** for 2 passwords since 2005 and a card ID in 2018 and there was no issue at the Department of Home Affairs, he said when they type my id number in their system it shows that I am dead, I asked him why their computer did not show that I was dead when they were allocating my contributions against my ID number, he said he will follow up with the assessor or paymaster and come back to me, I also gave him my SARS tax number, surely SARS with have picked it up, I even sent him a certified copy of my ID and a Affidavit. If I am dead then SARS must pay me back my PAYE deductions since 2005 (LOL), He sounds like he wants to assist me, only time will tell.

I also an email from Winiefred Mokonyama informing me that my application has been captured and escalated to the assessor but Daniel Tshabalala said that did not happen. I got another email from Katlego at the CallForceClaims at the UIF telling me that my company made ad error on the UI-19 form, i worked for the same company for the last 22 years.

I don't know what is going on at UIF centre but to me it seems like incompetence or *******ion.

At the rate they are going on my benefits will probably be approved after i am dead.
