I have app**** for unemployment insurance fund on the 25 of June 2023 and submitted my documents at Johannesburg labour center, my status has been stuck on 'Sent to Assessor' for 2 months now going to 3 months. I went back to Johannesburg labour they said my claim is still with the Assessor but for almost 3 months?? I have been calling the UIF consultants keep on telling me the turnaround time has elapsed and my case has been escalated but nothing is changing, I am not working and have no money to support myself. Department of labour is really failing us and it's not fair😭😭😭
