POOR SERVICE ONCE AGAIN FROM THE GOVERNMENT

I submitted my maternity claim in April 2020, to this day I have not received payment. Every time I call, I am being told that all my papers have been received and that my claim has been escalated to the supervisor who is always on leave. This is pathetic. The UIF maternity benefit is meant to supplement income when mothers are not getting full salaries during maternity leave, but the manner in which claims the claims are handled is shocking, not even mentioning their lack of communication with applicants. Very disappointed with this department
