Poor Service from Dept of Labour

Ive app**** for maternity benefits last year August. I received further correspondence re my banking details which i sorted out and submitted the forms again. In January i received a lettet stating that my claim was approved and that they now need proof of my child's birth (birth certificate). I submitted the form and up until today I have reveived no money. Upon following up, they now say that i never signed for the money and that they didnt hear from for 3 months. This is utter nonsense as i received two letter from them since august to which i rep**** timeously. Please could someone assist. Thanks
