Poor service delivery

The department of Labour Oudtshoorn should really upgrade on their service. This place opens 07:30 in the morning I can only get their by 08h00.. when i got there. I stood in a long line till 09:22 before someone got to the ticket stand to assist us waiting in line. We were told unfortunately we could not be assisted due to all people applying are to many and everyone will not be able to be assisted.

I was their on Tuesday 08:00 and was told that they had no consultant in office for UIF applications I should return today but could not be assisted. They take up to 45min with an application how is that possible? How long does it take to send banking info form and the UI9 document accompanied with UIF application and complete the few questions asked.

I also recently registered for ufiling app**** for UIF and received my case number ***. Got no feedback on this either. I tried to log back in and I got blocked out for some reason I have emailed ufiling support of assistance on 8 January 2020. Till today I have received nothing.

These people let us sit in long lines with no assistance and feedback. Once again the Oudtshoorn Labour department needs help get more people to assist or upgrade you system it is pathetically slow and out of date. Also for your Ufiling online system get it in check. I believe you want to help people and make life easier then do so and help. Service is rated by efficiency and giving feedback. Get those thing done.

Reviewer Update
Retured to the department of labour Oudtshoorn today the same time as Yesterday 08:00, got in line as per normal no-one receiving and welcoming people at the ticket counter for assistance for about 25min before we got tickets. I was suppose to complete my application in office due to the ufilling online system blocking me out of my profile for no reason and uifsupport has not gotten back since 8 January 2020 of my application and request for UIF.

Eventually I got assisted by Karen always smiling and very helpful lady, I would like to thank he for her service. Now she had inform me that my application was approved by my online application request on 9 January 2020 be advised the very next day I app**** (basically I went to the Labour offices for no reason waiting in lines). Anyway no one informed me or gave me feedback on the approval.

They need to work on their feedback and client communication and build knowledge on their online system which I think will make everything easier for the public unable to sit for hours in a line for help and even for them as the staff. They need to start introducing Ufiling to the public.
