Please help, I'm out of options...

<p>I created my UIF profile some months ago and have submitted all the necessary paperwork to claim maternity benefits. The last activity on my profile was dated 26/07/2016. I phone weekly only to be told it's with the assessor and when I ask how much longer, I am told I just have to wait. How can it still be with the assessor with no reason given for the holdup? I then ask when I should phone again and I'm told that if I receive an sms I don't need to phone. Duh! But I never receive an sms. My baby is 4 months old already. The complacency and lack of efficiency makes my blood boil. We NEED the benefit payout regardless how small the amount. I don't know what else to do, what channels to follow. We are expected to be good citizens and pay our due but we never get our due in return. I am so frustrated I could cry. Please help!</p>
