Please answer your telephone when it rings!

I recently lost my job and app**** to receive UIF. However, all the contact numbers given on applicable documents and on the internet does not seem to work! I have tried to come into contact with enquiries / customer services with all the given numbers throughout the Western Cape but without any luck. I am curious to know why this happens?!
