Pathetic UIF Service

It has been a very bad experience dealing with this department. It is over 2 years now and my retrenchment claim hasn't been processed.I have written several emails, have complained, and the issue was once escalated to Jocelyn, and ***, which was then escalated to ***, UIF ministirial team and more. More than 100 calls have been made but the service is pathetic.You are taken 20 steps back. The funny thing is every 2 months they write asking for documents which were submitted already. My other colleagues gave up and I think these UIF people are making money out of us. When you give up after it is highly likely that they close the case and disburse the funds to themselves.This is what I think is happening. An investigation has to be done.The whole country can't be crying and complaining Not 1 single good review .How pathetic.

How is it possible that after you gave all the documents and evidence, you take more than 2 years and still no decision is made.More that 20 of my work mates gave up. So were will the money go to? In their pockets I am sure. This department should just close. These consultants are paid for nothing. #investigate this department.
