Pathetic

I would hereby like to draw your attention to the poor service I have received from your representatives and utter disregard for my time and financial state.

I have been to at least 4 separate offices on at least 10 different occasions

As an unemployed individual I barely have funds to travel to and from your offices yet your staff do not show any concern for my situation nor any remorse for the fact that they blatantly refuse to assist me

Thusong Centre : I attempted to submit more than 4 times with no assistance due to no telephone lines or either the systems are down and mind you not trading hours only twice per week. The first lady who assisted me was utterly rude I was instructed to put aside my personal cellphone when I was trying to confirm if the forms I had received from nedbank were correct .It was a endless nigthmare having to show up early on a Tuesday or Friday morning just to be sent away .I was repeatly told there's nothing they could do as they cannot call anyone to assist me with my forms for the previous company I worked at .I then offered to make the necessary calls myself week after week I was told there's no update on the systems therefore I could not submit my forms.

I then decided to go to Orlando West Centre resulting into the same outcome as the above .On the second attempt to orlando offices it was closed for a few days and only re-opened in January 2020. Nice! No update of this on the website. And let me just say how terrified it was not being fami**** with the area. I had to be escorted from a polite elderly man who brought me safely to this office's because I was lost only to be turned away again .

A week later I then proceeded to Braamfontein where I was advised that I should come back the following week as they do not assist with UIF claims on that specific day (Tuesday 2nd Jan) and they too do not have landlines to assist me . I was further Directed to the Labour Department centre in Roodepoort as it was closer to home.

On the same day when I arrived "Fish" assisted me .I was actually relieved finally I found someone who could help me immediately.

I was then told to return on the 3rd February

Monday, 3 February 2020 where no one was interested in assisting me. I was sent from one person to the next. The pathetic excuse they used when refusing to assist was that the systems were offline once again. I do understand that we are all affected by the power shortage but no one offered to follow up or take my details . They did not even bother to note that the electricity supply was restored over 30 minutes before I still had to beg for assistance. I had to actually advise “Fish” that the power was back on as he too dismissed me after going from building to Building in search for him as I was told he's "somewhere around the building " everyone else claimed that only he could assist me.

“Fish” confirmed that he will personally see to it that my application is declared and forms I completed are correctly submitted and necessary approval obtained. He provided me with a turnaround time of 10 days, by which I will receive the funds that are rightfully due to me. I still have not received anything.

Any attempt to contact “Fish” since then has proven futile as he explicitly and with full intent avoids my calls. I have even had to enlist the assistance of a family member to call him from a different number just so that “Fish” will answer my calls of desperation and wanting to be kept up to date.

When I did eventually get through to “Fish”, all he could say was “There’s a backlog” and he asked he's supervisor for assistance. I then called him back again and proceeded with asking the supervisors contact details as once again I was advised to come into the office for assistances .

There's no sincerity, no remorse not even an apology for the delay or lack of communication.
