Online UIF claims, what a Joke!!!
I've been retrenched last year August, and I've been trying to claim UIF since, with no luck. I've paid my UIF all my life and would now like to know, what did I pay it for?

I've registered a claim online and later did another claim but No luck. I've phoned the call center a couple of times and that is how I got hold of amongst others a, Precious Matlawa. She gave me various reasons as to why I haven't yet received my UIF money and told me that within ten working days it would be fixed up after again, emailing her the required documentation on the 20th of February. What a bunch of \not yet competent jokers\"!! There is no way I'm going to stand in a queue for hours at Dept. of Labour, to be faced by yet another \"not yet competent\" person while there is a supposedly \"Online service\".

Today I've received a SMS from UIF claims, asking me to rate their service and I haven't received a cent!!! It seems to me the whole idea of an online UIF system is just there to make money for the department of labour and nothing else. I've just tried yet again, to phone the call center at 0860-345-464 as listed on their web page but only listened to an irritating tune for half an hour
"
