Not being assistance with Maternity benefits

This absolutely a disgrace for South Africans that is paying uif on monthly basis and needs to struggle to claim money that is not for free but that is owned to you as a uif contributor.

After emailing my application in November 2020 and was advise that the email address has crashed and i had to sent it to a link and in January 2021 when doing a follow up they advised that they forgot to submit my documents hence the delay in pay out.

After searching on social media on facebook under the group uif queries, there is people that have submitted their claims in January 2021 and has receive their first payment in January 2021. so they can't say there is a backlog that they working with.

We might as well not pay any uif toward the government, because only certain people are helped and i would really want to know what criteria they utilise when looking at applications.
