None payment received on UIF claim after 4 MONTHS

I started trying to file my claim with the Brakpan Labour Department from October 17 2016. I was sent back 7 times with different issues concerning my forms. Finally, on 27 October my forms were correct and complete according to Salamina Mokiba. She then said she was scanning my forms into their system and gave me a reference number and she told me I will be paid in 4-6 weeks. 8 weeks passed and still nothing. I called only to be told that my UI-19 which I did submit was not scanned. I then went back to resubmit what was supposedly outstanding on December 20th and I was told the system was off line and they can't help me, I must come back on the 5th of January 2017. I did that, was assisted by a lady whose name I have forgotten. I called on the 9th to follow up, again system was offline, called again on the 10th and I was told that the same Ui-19 was still outstanding. Thursday 12 I went back to resubmit it again and I was helped by Salamina. I really thought it was over and I would be paid. I called the following week and was told something else which I had submitted was outstanding. UI-2.7 not scanned, Japhta Shezi whom I was talking to on the phone said I must email it to him and he will scan and follow up. I emailed, called him to make sure he received it and he said he was scanning it. I called again on Monday 30th, Nomthamzo Mnguni checked and said UI-2.7 was not scanned, at this point I was very angry because that's what I was told the last time meaning I'm now submitting this for the 3rd time. She also said I must email and she will help. I've been calling every day for feedback however no one answer calls. I eventually got through on Wednesday 1 February, the gentleman I was talking to said it looked ok but needed to be sent to assessor and I should call on Tuesday 7th to follow up. I called yesterday, 12 tries, no answer. Eventually got hold of someone (Nomthamzo Mnguni) she took my ID and cellphone numbers, said she will check and get back to me. 2 hrs went by, no calI and I called again, still struggled but eventually same Nomthandazo picked up and told me they were offline. Called me 14:33 to ask me for which company I app****. She then said she will call me back. I am still waiting and my patience is gone. I'm going back to work on Monday and still no money. I struggled through the 4 months I've been home because I was not getting a salary even from work. I must still struggle to go to the place that puts food on my table all because of incompetency and people that do not care about their jobs. I hope something will be done about this and better service will be given to people in future. I am beyond upset at the service because my credit record has been affected due to arrears on accounts that I haven’t been able to pay and I would like someone to contact me with regards to my claim and I need my claim processed today.

Mamokete Lebogo
