Applying for Mertanity benefits should not be so impossible and fustrating.<br> <br> On the 8th of January I went to the department of labour to apply for the fund. After long ques was told my application papers were incomplete. I had to hand in a form from a previouse employer whom I worked for 4 years ago. The form was handed in the next day but was told by the consultend that I need to come back after 7 working days.<br> <br> I went back after the time. My application was put through but I was told to call in after 28 working days.<br> <br> I have been callin weekly to check the process of my application. Each time when I call in I get a different story and I must say the consultend are very rude and unwilling to assist.<br> <br> To be honest being at home as a mother with no fund is not easy at all, and the unwillingness of the Government to do their job does not make it any better. The amount is what I have contributed and they are not doing me any favours like they make it seem.
