No progress in my UIF claim

I was retrenched in October 2014, I submitted my claim at Malboro offices in 2015. Three months later I called the office to follow up, only to find that my claim was not captured on their system. I then went to Benoni for assistance, I found that my previous employer Tucksee PTY LTD did not register me with the department of labour but they were deducting UIF from my salary for 5 years. I opened a case against Tucksee but the labour department couldn't success in getting Tucksee to pay up the money in order for me to get my UIF benefit. In February my case my transferred to Malboro because Tucksee is based in Sandton, I was told they would contact me within 21 days. It is now 2 months and I haven't heard anything from Malboro offices. The service is bad and if you don't follow up or go there personally you will never get answers from the department of labour. In a process these companies continue to exploit their employees because they know that they can easily get away with anything.
