I app**** for maternity benefits on the 4th May 2015 and when I was there I was told of only one company that the UI 19 was outstanding. I went to that company same day and got the form after I was told to wait within 4-6weeks it is now the second month and still no payment has been received. I emailed the supervisor and he told me I have outstanding UI 19 form from the company I worked for previously, to my surprise that company I last worked for in the past 6years. My knowledge is that u are required to request that if u have worked for a particular company within five years. My payment is delayed now, I went again to enquire and Robert told me not to worry since its an old company I can just wait another 2weeks. Still no payment and not the decency of providing feedback this is totally wrong we pay for this benefits but when its time for pay out people dug and dive not fair at all having a baby is a full time job let alone having to run to labour dept and sit there for ours for staff that doesn't even care
