Mr Tshepiso Maphatane COVID TERS Risk Division - Not qualified to be referred to as Head of Risk for UIF.
Roshan Jelal Head of Risk from FNB put a hold on the Keolebogile Consortium Pty Ltd account in December 2020 claiming that there is ********** activity from said account. When FNB confirmed that the monies which were in the account belongs to Keolebogile Consortium employees, Roshan Jelal called Tshepiso Maphatane at UIF Risk informing him that Keolebogile Consortium is suspected of COVID Ters *****. Mr Maphatane stated that he will investigate. But didn’t. Instead he sat on the file for 12 months without informing UIF Auditors to do said investigations. December 2021 Maphatane after an intervention was requested from the Minster of Labour office when the Minister wanted to know what was the delay only then did Maphatane inform their audit division. Mr Nkosi and Mr Shaka were very detailed and gave back a report stating that no ***** was committed. FNB still refuses to release funds that were meant for employees of Keolebogile Consortium and Mr Maphatane states that there is still further internal processes to be followed of which he can’t even articulate.
Mr Roshan Jelal has stated that he is awaiting for Mr Maphatane to instruct FNB to remove the hold. Mr Maphatane it seems has not sent any correspondence to FNB following a report by Department of Labour Audit Division. We are unsure what may be the delay this time around. If Mr Maphatane will only do his work only when we request the office of the Minister of Labour to intervene. This was the case when Mr Maphatane was sitting on the case for 12 month before referring it to Auditing. Now following the report it seems Mr Maphatane has no intention of doing anything with the report.
Mr Tshepiso Maphatane UIF Risk Division - Cadre Deployment? Is he qualified to do the work? Qualifications for occupation? Mr Maphatane cannot elaborate what his department does or the process they follow.
