Mitchells Plain Labour Department is a embarrassment to the Country.

I app**** for my UIF in June. They sent an sms to say my claim will be processed in 35 working days. I have been at the Uif office in Mitchells plain 13 times. I've been waking up at 3 in the morning to stand in the line from 4am. Up till now I have not received my claim. I've been told my application will be pushed through and I should have gotten my money already and yet after 13 times I've been there nothing has been done. I've checked my application online every day from Monday to Friday and it still says sent to assessor. I've been to other branches but they keep referring me back to Mitchells Plain. People who have app**** in September are getting paid. The system seems to be working on its own and it's probably selecting its own people. Other branches people are being paid out but yet Mitchells Plain has been a delay and a delay its a never ending business. You have to fight for your own money. They are disgusting. They closed their doors 4 times, 2 hrs after they open saying that the people are rude. The guy at the door collects R20 from unemployed people to be assisted. How do you ask money from unemployed people who is trying to get their money?? Makes no sense. Government people who earns enough money are requesting money from the unemployed. THIS PEOPLE ARE A JOKE TO THIS COUNTRY.

If I do not get my money by the end of this month I am going to the media with Mitchells Plain Labour department.
