Messed up uif

Im going on maternity leave as from 3 September 2021, I app**** online and they requested my medical certificate and company payment schedule, I changed my banking details aswel and submitted it all via email as requested, ive been emailing since 2 months ago and no feedback or progress as to notify me that it was received and everything is in order, It frustrating because i have bills that needs to be paid end September, and i cannot wait 5 months for payouts, So tell me, how do you survive with no income when thd government was taking my money all the time? Should i go to news papers ... im honestly disgusted...
