Maternity Leave

I app**** for my maternity UIF in September 2014 (a month before I go on Maternity Leave). I was told I take about 7 to 10 working days for my money to be in my account. I waited and nothing happened. I then decided to call them in February ( three months later), and I was told there's a document missing. I called my HR same day and they forwarded me the document and I decided to take it there personally at the Marlboro Branch... when I get there I was given the form all over again. I had to go back to my doctor for her to sign and again to my employer. And mind you I was travelling with a baby. Till today I haven't got my money as yet, I had to stay at home without any pay, I have a car, a house and a baby. It's been 8 months now six I have app**** for my UIF and still no money< when I call it's either they going to tell me that there's a document missing or they have systems problem. I do not know what to do anymore. I need the money to I can cover my premiums for the two months that I missed. <br> <br> I don't normally write on hello peter, but someone told me about and I thought maybe it might help. it's my very first time. People working for the gov don't think about us. Really!!!!!
