Maternity claim UIF

I went to submit my UIF maternity claim in Potchefstroom branch and I was told that there is a company that I worked for that is reflecting on my profile, that company was a coffee shop and it closed in 2018 without trace, I gave the lady the contact numbers that I have for the company and she said that she can't do anything I must just go back. My question is, must I suffer with my kid for this coming 4 months without pay and without UIF which is due to me because of the company that doesn't. Is it my fault that the company is closed and cannot be tracked and how do I get help from this?
