maternity benefits

in 2020 , i have apply for maternity benefits , which i have send the document that the have needed on my side , Everytime when i call to check if they received my email i was always getting a response no they did not received i end up stopping to call them . so i was not paid from uif maternity benefits ! 2023 8 august i gave birth again so i said the claim again so on 8 Sep 2023 i phone uif to check my status of my maternity i got told that my claim was cancelled because i did not pay july uif and i was already on maternity already and i work for myself i do contribute to uif monthly for second time they don’t want to pay me again .
