MATERNITY BENEFIT

Hi , I have been to department of labour in Johannesburg Roodepoort on the 29 of june to submit my documents to collect uif for maternity , I have been assisted by a female lady who took all the documents. She then gave me a follow up sheet which states I should come back in 6 to 8 weeks . I have been to the department of labour last Thursday just to find out that nothing has been done . I have a baby who is just 7 weeks old I stood in the line for almost 5 hours waiting to be attended to ,When I get to the lady she says nothing has been done by Kempton park department of labour , So I told her all my document was submitted and its not my problem that they have not captured it . She then advise me to speak to the manager in the branch which I went and waited in another line which I was assisted after half an hour waiting in the line .According to the mangers reply was , Manager was not helpful at all . I was pushed around , They have no respect for other ppl.I was to ffl up this Thursday .I know that nothing will be done .. They going to prolong this issue . Maternity uif was suppose to be simple not complicated.
