Late maternity claim payout

I app**** for my maternity benefits on the 12th of October 2015. Two weeks after that I got an sms saying medical certificate was missing. I went back to the labour offices only to be told to ignore the message as it was the system. The following week and the week after that I received the same message, that's when I decided to go check what was happening. Spent 4 hours following a long queue, only to be told medical certificate was indeed missing. I finally got the medical certificate scanned onto the system on the 7th of November. On the 23rd of November decided to do a follow up, another long queue in the sun. This time I was told that my claim has not been approved but an enquiry will be raised. A week after that I decided to register online so I could be able to track my application, to my amazement the status hasn't changed since the 7th of November, shows as sent to assessor. Tried to call the Sandton offices and national call centre but phones go unanswered. How long does the assessor take to make a decision denying me what is rightfully mine in the meantime?
