Lack of service and inconsistent information from Department of Labour - UIF claims!!!

I've been trying to apply for UIF since March this year. The call centre is useless, every time you speak with an agent they tell you a different story, it seems like they don't know the process. April 10th, I submitted my application for benefits and have sent them the required documents via email (as requested by one of their agents). I was told the turnaround time is 15 - 20 days, today I called again after countless email follow-ups, only to be told that the turnaround time is 20 - 35 days, so today it's day 25 and the 35 days would be on 29 May. Department of labour should be considerate and take their job serious as well as the applicants, this waiting period is unnecessary, how many months does it take to review an application and provide feedback? If and when the application is approved, you're told to wait another 15 days before applying for continuation of benefits!!!! This ****py service is so wrong and unacceptable. Department of Labour employees should be trained to be able to properly guide people and minimize the lengthy process and the back and forth communication that yields nothing but frustration to applicants.
