Labour department poor means of communication

The worst experience ever. Today I went as per their instructions to come and sign for my pay out.

Guess what they put up a notice saying their server is being moved to a different location.

After going to two other labour departments near by, only the third one had the decency to tell me the truth that their system is offline nation wide.

Why did they not even think of sending us all sms' or at least notifications that we should not bother coming to their offices due to server being relocated.

Do they even understand the inconvenience that they have caused to so many people?

How sure are we that they'll even be up and running on Monday as they say on their notice????

Like this is ****ery on steroids. Government departments and officials should respect our time just as much they demand respect from us. I'm truly appalled by how they chose to handle this situation. They could have at least announced it o the news or something. Instead of letting us think that everything is hunky dory.

Poor management s****s and poor service delivery is being rendered!

I'm truly gutted by this entire ordeal.
