I submitted doc's to UIF on the 26.01.15 as my contract ended in Dec 14. I was seen by 2 staff, a white guy who confirmed all my doc's are in order. Then a black lady who had to capture the banking details, she confirmed I need to come back in 6 wks being the 11 March and will be paid in 2 days as all my documents are in order.On 11th March I stood for over 3 hrs, given a no and had to wait another 4hrs, I was only seen after 3pm and was told by Khuliso that I need to come back in 3 wks as the person responsible for processing didn't process the 2nd last co. I was extremely furious & told him I will NOT come back as I was told all my doc's are in order & should get pd in 2 days. He said he will get a supervisor to assist as I informed him I will report this on Hello Peter as well as put in the papers. A senior came & informed me all managers are not in & will make sure I get a call & attend to this ASAP. I got a call on Thursday from Freda who informed me that she will get this backdated to 26.03.15 & call me on Fri. Till today no call, I have been trying to call the dept and no answer.Being a single mom & unemployed is difficult.I need the money ASAP & need an urgent reply....
