Improper rejection of UIF cliam

Ive recently had to move from my hometown in Colesberg, where I was working as a Law Assistant, to Pretoria where my husband is working and my son was starting school. In spite of this I had to leave my job with mutual consent between myself and my employer.

I submitted all documentation required by Labour and I subsequently received an sms noting that my claim has been rejected. The reasons stated was that if one resigned he/she is not entitled to the UIF. I therefore perused the UIF Act and I could not find the specify section disqualifying resignation. I sent an email to the Appeal board stating my case, alluding to the fact that as much as I have resigned, circumstances surrounding my resignation brings its own merits and demerits, as this in not resignation per se, its a termination of contract of employment by mutual consent between myself and employer.

Up to this day I have not received any response from Appeal Board ad when I make follow up calls am just being told the ACT disqualifies the payment of UIF to individuals who resigned, I constantly request the relevant section of the ACT and none of the officials I spoke to where able to direct me to the specify section of the act.
