Government letting new mother's down: UIF Maternity benefit

Good Day,

Can anyone from the department of Labour assist please.I have app**** for the uif maternity benefit 4 months ago and only received a R385 a month ago and they asked me to apply for continuity of benefit and payment which I've done and completed in September 3 2019 and received an sms that the payment will take 7 to 10 days the application is with the paymaster and still to date I haven't received any payment and it's been 4 months since I took maternity leave and it's frustrating because I'm behind with my debts and the uif maternity benefit was going to assist me. I'm so disappointed at this process as we new mothers are relying only on this amount to be able to continue living without a salary. Imagine having to raise a new born and financially stressed. I.started working in 2007 and have never claimed before and to find out from other people or new mothers that they got paid after a week of application. I'm so disappointed at our government
