**** going on

very dissapointed in Uif Sandton centre. So my partner lost his job in January 2026. He then went to the centre to submit his U19 papers and everything ,fine they told him everything submitted and then we waited after 2 weeks mid Feb he went again to check what the delay was ,then was told to apply online since there was a hold in their systems and it will commence on the 1st of April fine we waited and yesterday we try to call and see what the delay was again, we were told in 2020 when he got the job he lost after the first payment in September Uif kept paying him until April 2021 .So my question is to who was this money going to because he had closed the Standard bank card which he was using at that time after getting the new job so how come payments were still made even though it was registered on the system that his working now and also it was post covid at that time you had to sign for every payment so who was authorising these payments to a closed account . Now the first payment which he was supposed to get on the 1st of April was deducted by Uif claiming he owes them for the months in 2*** when he was working , so now we have to run around with standard bank looking for statements as to where the money went to since the account was closed. really pathetic and i feel like there is ***** going on in that department as we now have to pay for money we didn't get.
