FRUSTRATED

This is so frustrating that as a South African Citizen paying UIF on a monthly basis and you cannot get proper assistance when you need it. I have been on unpaid maternity leave for four months and app**** for UIF online. when I went to the Labour department to provide my baby's birth certificate I was told that my application is not on the system I must re-do the application and I did that. On the 25 September 2015 I received an SMS saying UIF Claim received. Progress will be communicated within 35 days. After 2 months I went to Labour dept to do a follow up and surprisingly I was told that my application was not done, they took my Id and case number but still nothing is done, no communication till today the 05 January 2016.<br> This is not the first time I am not receiving assistance from the department of labour. At first it was my late brother's UIF and now its mine. It is true if you don't know anyone at the department of labour you won't be assisted. So it's true employees from the Department of Labour ROB poor people their UIF money.<br> Its not fair for the children to suffer while dept is holding the funds.Can somene tell me whats going on I NEED MY MONEY DESPERATELY AS YESTERD
