Department of Labour - UIF claims an absolute failure

My mother Yvonne Trooi Jood has worked as a registered nurse in both the public and private sector for about 35 years. In all those years she has contributed to UIF. She has been medically boarded and have not worked for the past 6years and has tried to claim back from UIF with no success at all. Online applications as well as in person enquiries to the department of Labour offices has proved futile. We tried to contact Mr Tebogo Maruping who referred us to his secretary who apparently escalated the matter to the appeal office. They requested documents which my mom submitted in 2023 and never heard back from them again. My mom is ill and needs assistance and this situation has been very stressful on her health. We need help with this situation urgently.
