Good day

I’m in awe with the service I have received with labour it’s unfair and is violating my newborns right to food and shelter! I have been paying towards my Uif for a good 10years with no fail. However when I need to use my Uif I get such treatment. I app**** for the maternity benefit and the first payment was done on the 19th of September which was R1152.00 which was also frustrating tell me who can survive off that amount and still feed a newborn! I was told that it was generated by the system and they only paid me 3days! How can you pay someone 3days for an amount that is suppose to last for a month and still wait again for the next payment to be processed! Which I find very ridiculous! I went on the 8th of October to sign again for payments when I did a follow up on the 13th nothing was captured. Again I went to complain about this and they told me nothing can be done I need to redo the application mind you I’m on unpaid maternity leave with no income at all! Ive got a hungry child and I’m being told nothing can be done life goes on like nothing happen I’m left to borrow money and feed my child because someone found it not important enough to capture my payment request! And they go about to their families and eat and I’m left hungry with hungry children. I redone the application now I’m being told I need to wait till the 3rd of November which is pure nonsense for something that is not even my fault i did my part to go and sign but someone from your department was ***********.Today is the 17th business day and I’m being told I’m still under verification that I should wait again 10 business day again! Imagine how do I explain to a hungry 4month baby that labour is sorry for the inconvenience you won’t get milk and diapers!!! Im getting no help at all tried speaking with the t.l no help all I get is rude agents.
