Department of labour Randburg ' Frustrating centre'

I have been trying to submit my UIF claim since February, I get turned away because my surname has changed so I must re quest that my bank amends my ui-28 to use my marital surname. The agen assisting me doesn't mention that UIF doesn't pay into Tyme bank ( I was told call centre agent. Long story short: I had to open an FNB account, obtained Ui-28 with updated surname.

I go back to the department of labour to submit, the very same agent tells me that I can't because I must obtain a marriage certificate that is an electronic issue as I had the hand written version along marriage registration form 😕 I am unemployed! I struggle financially,even to get these documents submitted. He even asks me to get my UIF Employer forms amended, knowing fully well that the company is liquidated.

As we stand, it is end of March and I have not been able to submit my claim 😔 I have to apply for digital copy of my marriage certificate with the department of home affairs where I have to pay a fee for that copy, 😞😞 I'm lost for words 😞 this is supper inefficient and unprofessional
