DEPARTMENT OF LABOUR KWAMHLANGA,MPUMALANGA

I've been going to the Department of labour Kwamhlanga,Mpumalanga to enquire about my UIF claim since from May 2020 after Covid 19 levels were lowered to level 4.Till to date I've been going from pillar to post about my application and they're always wanting me documents after documents and when I submit them I don't even get any feedback nor update on my claim,yet I'm the one who has to spend my money(the one that I don't even have),travelling to them and to risk for my life,waking up in the early hours of the morning so that I can take the first taxi at around 3H00am so that I can be in a que on their daily list of people they have to assist on that day.I've been doing that since from May 2020 but my application for UIF has not been finalized nor approved till to date 07/08/2020.I'm currently unemployed and I was really hoping that by this time I'd be getting my UIF payment but it looks like it's still going to be an every day struggle of my journey because nothing is promising.Some of the officials are so mean and instead of helping the applicants,they make them feel threatened and mistreat us, shouting at us and especially elderly people is what they're good at. You have to phone them to follow up on your application and yet they are not even giving you a positive feedback,but all they would tell you is to come along with your documents as early in the morning as possible,so that you can be on the list of people they're allowed to assist for that day,and only to find out that whatever they are explaining to you personally they coud have explained it to you over the phone during the time you phoned them for an update,but you have to rist for your live and spend money for unnecessary travelling to their offices.I'm really disappointed in this Department and its officials for their bad service and treatment towards people and applicants,as we don't get assistance as we should be but we get threats about getting us arrested if we complain to them about their service towards us as applicants.
