I was retrenched on 31st December 2020 from work and app**** online for my UIF benefits on 21st December 2020 via Ufiling. I received my case number on the same day. 3 Months later on the 1st April 202 I received an online notification "Completed by Assessor", then the same day 1st April 2021 received another SMS and online notification "Siyaya Status - Not Approved/Refused". On the same day I sent a "Notice of Appeal" as I don't know what this notice meant. I also submitted my Notice of appeal the same day, and still await and answer from them. This is so ridiculous and a complete failure, how can you accept UIF online applications and not even have a helpline to assist with online inquiries. It's going for almost 2 months and I have not received a single UIF payment. After 4 calls to the call center and a 2nd "Notice of Appeal" sent this morning, I'm still non the wiser and it's almost 4 months now and still no monies received from the UIF FUND !! Why are we paying UIF if they can't pay me ?? Very ****ed off UIF Contributor
