Dehumanizing experience! Sad and Angry

App**** online for UIF on 4 July 2025,

First time in my working career life I claim UIF. It is not an easy situation to find yourself in as there are financial obligations one has to commit to. However, it is August 28th and no payment or progress with the Department. I called several times with no clear answer as to the delay. They just keep on escalating the issue and nothing comes of it. It is so frustrating to deal with this type of incompetence when one is so vulnerable and desperate. It is dehumanizing! I feel let down by the system that was supposed to help me. After I paid UIF for 18years and never claimed.
