death claim take to long

I supmetted my documents on 14 April. 2014 they said 6 to 8 weeks nothing then the papers I supmiddend are gone ever month a new story. A vencily after almost a year the documents are at the assesors 10 day.....10 day later the computer still show outstanding doc. I'm fedup for storys I have a 16y old son to look after and his father passed away on 15 feb 2014 so I apply for daeth claim. Can somebody give me answers
