Claim rejected
July 2020 I sent in my claim at Ulundi office, made a follow up in August , but I was told that they lost my documents through Covid 19 ups and downs. Sent another claim there after , i received a message on 8th September saying my claim is rejected. I was told to do the appeal.sent an appeal 11 September and today 18 September I received a call from Ulundi office saying they can't pay for my UIF claims because I don't have points and I need to wait for four years , my question is how do I wait for four years while unemployed. I have been working for my company since 2014 on 6 months contract basis and every year I was able to claim my UIF immediately. What has changed now , why was I not told about such rulling. I'm currently unemployed and with this pandemic hitted the country there is no luck in employment, I have been contributing to my UIF , why now that I can't benefit, where is my contribution going, what the point of contributions if you will be rejected when claiming. This is the toughest time in the country we need money to survive.i find this unfair because most of my colleagues received their funds and we have working on same routine of 6 months contract every year.
I really don't get it and not happy with the decision, to make it worse the lady who phoned me was rude , even dropped a call on my ears, she refused to repeat her name for reference and dropped the call.
I would really appreciate it if you could review your decision and release my payment
