Case No:*** - Approved UIF claim ignored by paymaster

Case No:***: I wish I could give a zero star rating to the UIF paymaster / payments department. October 2023, I lodged my UIF claim online. I was not contacted at all then I visited the UIF office at Maponya Mall in early March 2024. I was assisted and my claim lodged. My claim was assessed and approved and I received the SMS confirming that my payment will be processed within 5 days, this was early March 2024. Since then, I have been calling the call centre on numerous occasions and had my query and complaints escalated but to this day, the paymaster/payments department ignores me, no payment has been made to me yet whatsoever. I have children to feed, bills to pay and I have creditors threatening but the paymaster does not care. How many escalations will it take??? This is absolutely appalling, I do not have the resources or money to keep visiting the maponya office or keep calling. I am taking this matter further as I do not get any results, I am disgusted with this delay as all the required documents from my side was submitted, there is no valid reasons for this to be taking this long. WHY WAS PAYMENT NOT MADE TO ME YET AND WHAT WAS THE DELAY??? is the paymaster and payments department just lazy or are they eating our money??? What valid reasons for they have to not do their jobs???? I am taking this matter further, I'm tired of this now.
