Benoni Department of Labour needs urgent intervention

The Benoni department of labor is the worst ever. Poor service, very slow, start work late but stop work before time. My spouse got retrentched in August 2020 started the uif claim process in September at Benoni and they kept on giving him dates to come back the next month though he submitted everything required and he only got his first payment in March 2021. I got retrenched as well in November so I only started the uif claim process in March. I went there, after queing for over an hour they checked my papers and said I must go back to the employer to refill my salary schedule using tge old form not the new updated uif salary schedule form. I did that, went back following week, qued for about 2 hours then tgey just check my papers at admin and tell me to come back in April for filing. I went yesterday, and stood on the que outside for 5 hours unattended, on my feet, no seats. I was only attended after 5 hours still standing outside, they only took my palers abd sad i must stand outside while the go file. The uif representative only came back out after an hour only to tell me there is a problem with dates corresponse on my papers and their system, they need service letter from tge company. I had the letter on email and asked to quickly go print and come back, printers were just a block away, the representative said NO, I can only attend you one a day. Go back home, do yhe printout and come back another day. I asked to come back the following day, he said NO come back on Friday. Fridays are the worst because by 13:00 they dont want to work, they usually tell people they offline by that time. It also foes not help that tgey are shortstaffed, I mean there are so many of us who are out jobs who que there daily, why doesn't the deparyment hire us to help up their service delivery. We go there daily to que the whole day for OUR money, not the government's money but we come back withiut fibdibg help and must wakw up early morning to go que again the next day/ date, we use money for transport that we do not have hense we want to claim uif to get money. The department needs to intervene with the Benoni Labor department, it is misserable at providing service delivery.
