Bad service at Dept of labour - Randburg offices

Came to submit my UI-19 declaration forms at the dept of labour Randburg branch on the 29th April 2021. I was given other forms to complete by an official of the department. I completed the forms and joined the long queue to submit the completed forms. The day ended without having a chance to submit. Monday 03rd May i came back to submit. Same process of joining the long queue. Again the same happens, no help because of the long queue. Was only given new forms to fill because the previous ones were dated.

05th May came back again to submit. Was told that the official who deals with "Declarations" was not at work and we should come back the following day. It's Thursday 06th of May today. I came at 06:30am to join the long queue. While in the queue, an official recognized me and ask why I'm in the long queue again. I asked what he meant and he said for declarations i must join the shorter queue in front of the department entrance. I went there with two other people. From 07:30 to 09:00 only two people were helped. Another two got helped from 09:00 to 11:00. 12:00-13:15 another two was helped. Then the official went on lunch. We waited in anticipation.

At 14:30,a lady who said is the supervisor came to our queue and ask each one of us where we are from(place of residence). Then myself and another gentleman were told to go to dept of labour at Roodepoort and Marlboro. She said she will only help people from her area.

My frustration is that since day one of coming here, from Ruimsig, no one told me that Randburg office doesn't assist residents from Ruimsig. Instead i was given forms to fill day in and day out.

Now, I'm expected to go to Roodepoort and restart the process again. Not considering my traveling expense and the fact that from Ruimsig, Randburg office are the closest.

The service at dept of labour Randburg sucks. The officials working there care less about people's well-being.
