Bad service and long queues
I started my application to claim for UIF in February 2016. It is now 6 April and I have not even completed the process. On my first visit in February, I was told to return on 30th March to return a bank account confirmation form. For this I was given a return date of 30th March, which was three weeks after the first visit.

Indeed I returned on the said date and when I got to the offices, there was a notice on the wall to say the offices are closed and will reopen on 4th April. Since 4th April, it has been a nightmare for me to get service, I've been there four times only to be told that the numbers have exceeded the daily quota. My question is why does one have to always be subjected to long queues just to drop a document, even better why can't the outstanding information be submitted online?

Furthermore, the staff there is hostile and is not helpful. People are treated with disdain and disrespect, waiting outside in the scorching sun, rain even cold weather. Is this how the government should treat people? Even the elderly and pregnant women are subjected to these extreme conditions? I have tried to call all the nearby office in Johannesburg, Wynburg, Alberton without success
