Applications stop at 2pm???

I have wasted leave time from work in order to come through to these offices to sort out my wifes UIF claim. I have for the last 2 weeks trying to sort this out at this office. Each friday that i come here i am told that the people verifying applications have left. Do these guys work only half days? Is that how my tqx money being spent?
