Appalling Service and Incompetence at Polokwane Department of Labour

I am writing to express my extreme disappointment and frustration with the Department of Labour office in Polokwane. We submitted a request for payment on August 11, and today, September 3, we have still not been paid the UIF money.

The reason we have been given is completely unacceptable: they claim they do not have a "paymaster." This level of dysfunction is not only unprofessional but also highlights a serious lack of accountability. What exactly is the responsibility of the manager if not to ensure that essential positions are filled and that the office can perform its basic functions? It is a failure of management and a blatant disregard for the public they are supposed to serve.

This situation has caused significant inconvenience and financial hardship. The Polokwane Department of Labour needs to address its staffing issues immediately and take responsibility for the serious delays and poor service. This is not how a government institution should operate.
