Absolute disgraceful....

I have been retrenched in my workplace since end February 2024. I app**** with the UIF on the 12th March 2024 to start the process as quickly as possible to cover my lost income. I've been working 18 years in the mining industry and have ALWAYS paid my UIF contribution, like any other law abiding citizen. I made sure all my documentation is uploaded to their system as quick as possible. I call 3 times a week to follow up and every time the call centre people tell me everything is in order, they will escalate the matter. well, its been nearly 5 months now and due to the incompetence of the UIF, my life is falling apart financially. i truly pray that God will intervene and that no other person will have to go through what i go through. i have called the UIF more than 17 times to follow up and no one can assist me, even though all the info THEY require from myself, is on the system... THEY SIMPLY SAY THEY DONT KNOW WHY IM NOT GETTING MY UIF.... surely its either total incompetence, arrogance or they do it deliberately for reasons we all know why....
