5 Years of UIF Neglect – No Resolution, No Accountability

Zero-star rating. I am beyond frustrated with the UIF’s complete lack of service and accountability. I initially app**** for unemployment benefits in 2020 after losing my job due to COVID-19. I never received any correspondence regarding my application. Each time I inquired, I was told that my case had been “escalated for immediate attention.” Yet, for two years, nothing happened.

In 2023, after losing another job, I reapp****—only to face the same fate. Every time I contact the customer service line, I am told they have no access to the correct information and that I need to "wait patiently." It has now been five years!

To make matters worse, I can no longer access the online platform due to system issues. When I visited a UIF office for assistance, I was turned away and told to follow up online—the same platform I am locked out of!

This is unacceptable. UIF is failing its citizens. I demand urgent intervention and resolution to my case.
