Compensation fund claim delayed

My dad worked for ADT FIDELITY for 11years & 5months, he died on duty working night shift. He died on the 25th of April 2020, two weeks after his death we put in a claim & it's been 2years & 10months, we still haven't received any payment from them & we have patiently because my mother is the only breadwinner. Where do we go from here, we would like some answers ?
