Wrongful PRP Judgement as TRV Still Pending with DHA 7 months on!!!

After almost 3 years waiting to receive my Permanent Residency Permit, I received notification to collect in Cape Town. Nervous, but positive, as I had no reason to be otherwise, I was utterly shocked to receive a REJECTION of my PRP, submitted 24 February 2016. Reason stated “Failure to submit a Temporary residence Visa.” On July 27, 2018 I submitted my 5th TRR (Temporary Residence Renewal) via VFS Cape Town which I have STILL NOT RECEIVED as it is still pending with DHA, supposedly in the Printing Stage. My TRR has been in the system for almost 7 MONTHS now and is STILL PENDING. This is the reason why I was not given my PRP. This is a totally wrongfully adjudicated decision. How, oh how can this be when my TRR is still pending and in the system?! I made numerous calls to follow up the TRR to DHA. It was being processed ever so slowly. I am aware of huge backlogs and the average 5 week wait for a TRR renewal has increased. Many have waited 5 months but nobody has heard of a 7 month wait! I app**** timeously for the renewal of my last TRR, as I have always done. (Application submitted July 27, 2018 My last TRR expired in October 2018). The temporary visa in my PRP application was in order at the time of submission. ALL my previous Temporary Permits were app**** for and submitted for processing to DHA on time.

Am told if I appeal it will be rejected as I don't have a valid, current TRV! I am living a total nightmare.

Only have a few days left if I am to appeal.

NOBODY has responded to emails from VFS, DHA, Presidential Hotline, etc.

The incompetence and bungling is just incredible.
